Hemp by HOWND Skin, Nose & Paw balms protect, soothe and moisturize all year round. 100% vegan, unscented, fast-absorbing and natural. The balms can be used in the summer months to protect the snout and outer ears from UVA and UVB rays, as well as any exposed skin; and in the winter period to protect a dog’s soft pads from ice and salted pavements. This wonder balm is ideal to have handy at home to apply to dry, chapped or sore patches of the skin. Hemp by HOWND can be used on adult dogs and is safe to use on puppies from 12 weeks.
Botanical ingredients work together to effectively moisturize and heal soft pads, noses and skin as well as providing protection from the sun. Formulation contains a generous inclusion of Organic Hemp Seed Oil – one of the world’s richest known sources of Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids – vital for optimal health of the skin. HOWND has sourced this extraordinary ingredient from one of Europe’s leading organic hemp farms that have GMP (Good Manufacturing and Practice), as well as Organic Certification.
Other ingredients include Candelilla wax (a vegan alternative to beeswax); Calendula, which has skin-healing and anti-inflammatory properties useful in soothing sores, treating inflamed and itchy skin; Sweet Almond Oil; Shea Butter; Vitamin E and SPF.
This product is free from any and all harsh chemicals. It is safe to use on a daily basis and is safe to use with topical flea products. HOWND is against animal cruelty. As with all of HOWND’s pet care products, Hemp by HOWND Nose, Skin & Paw Balms are Leaping Bunny certified by Cruelty Free International.
